Thomas Daley

Tom Daley is a licensed Associate Broker and REALTOR® in Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia for TTR Sotheby's International Realty. He has the GRI (Graduate REALTOR® Institute) and MilRES (Military Relocation Specialist) designations.

Tom currently serves as GCAAR Secretary, and has been an active GCAAR Board member since 2013. He also sits on the Board of the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR). Tom is the Chair of the RPAC/Political & Government Affairs Committee, member of the Budget Committee, and previous member of the Education, Investment Advisory, and Board of Directors' Nominating Committees, Chair of the Subcommittee on Continuing Education, member of the Strategic Planning Presidential Advisory Group and Board liaison to the YPN and Communications Committees. He has also represented GCAAR on the MRIS Compliance Committee for the last two years.

Tom is an ardent supporter of RPAC and been a sustaining "Sterling R" contributor for several years.

He has twice been appointed by the National Association of REALTORS® to be Chair for both the Broker Participation Council and the RPAC Participation Council for the Washington, DC region, and has been quoted in The Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, and Current Newspapers for his real estate knowledge and commentary.

Tom hopes to continue his role with executive leadership to advance member interests, add more member benefits, and protect our industry and political interests as President-Elect in 2017.

Koki Adasi
Koki Adasi, ABR, CRS, GRI, SRS
Long & Foster Real Estate

Koki Adasi is an Associate Broker and Team Leader with Long & Foster's Woodley Park office. He has been in the real estate industry since 2006, and has received his CRS, GRI, SRS, and ABR designations. Koki has been very active with GCAAR, serving on the Community Service Committee for several years, YPN, and most recently on the Board of Directors. In 2008, Koki was recognized by REALTOR® Magazine as one of the "30 Under 30," which recognizes the rising young stars in the real estate industry. In 2010 he appeared on an episode of HGTV's television show "House Hunters" and this past year was selected as one of the top agents in the DC area by Washingtonian Magazine.

Outside of real estate, Koki's time is spent mostly in volunteer activities, on the basketball court, and with his family. He served on the Board of Directors for YMCA Youth & Family Services for eight years and is currently a member of the Rotary Club. He was recognized by the Greater Capital Area YMCA as Philanthropist of the Year in 2011. Koki and his wife Jess are proud parents of two young children.

Katrina Schymik Abjornson

Katrina is a Vice President of Compass DC and a Partner of Czuba Group. She is a licensed REALTOR® in DC, MD, VA and MA (specializing in Nantucket Island). She is a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) and a Military Certified Residential Specialist (MilRES).

Katrina began her real estate career in 2003 and was Rookie of the Year in 2006 (her first full-time year). She is consistently a top REALTOR® in the metropolitan region. Most recently, Czuba Group was named a Washingtonian Top Real Estate Group (2015, 2016) as well as Compass' Top 3 Team (2015).

Katrina is an active member in GCAAR, having previously served on the Grievance and now on the Professional Standards Committees. Katrina also served as a CRS Regional Vice President.

She graduated from St. Mary's College at Notre Dame with a BBA, and has completed graduate work in international business at Johns Hopkins University. Katrina and her husband, Erik, a lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Marine Corps, live with their German shepherds, Loki and Klaus, and their indomitable cat, Oscar. They enjoy traveling, wine, cooking, and gardening.

Jan Brito

Jan Brito is an Associate Broker with Long & Foster in Bethesda and is licensed in MD, DC, and VA. A native Washingtonian, Jan is very familiar with the entire Metro area and resides in Montgomery County. She came to the real estate field in 2005 after spending 15 years in Information Technology - experience that serves her well in this fast-paced digital age, where almost all consumers begin their search for real estate online.

Jan holds the prestigious Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation by the Council of Residential Specialists. Fewer than 3% of REALTORS® nationwide have earned the credential. She has been very involved with the MD/DC CRS Chapter Board of Directors since obtaining her license, and most recently served as 2015 Chapter President. She was MD/DC CRS of the Year in 2015, and is now serving National CRS as the Region 3 Regional VP. Jan has served on GCAAR's RPAC, Public Policy, and Events Committees, and is a current member of the Forms Committee. Jan is a 2014 graduate of the MAR Leadership Academy, is a member of Long & Foster's Masters & Founders Club, and holds the GREEN, SRES, and ePRO® designations. She is also a trained mediator, and a Certified Home Marketing Specialist.

In her free time, Jan volunteers as a "certified puppy petter" for the Warrior Canine Connection, and is an avid USTA tennis player. She resides in Bethesda with Daisy, her Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.

Jody Goren
Jody Goren, GRI, SRES®
Weichert, REALTORS®

Jody Goren is a native Washingtonian and second-generation REALTOR®. She is licensed in Maryland and DC and has had the distinct pleasure of partnering with her mother for over 20 years. Following in her mother's footsteps, Jody also feels a sense of responsibility to contribute to the real estate community. She is currently serving a first term on the Professional Standards Committee and is in her second year on the Forms Committee where she is chair of the REA forms sub-committee. She had also served for three years on the Grievance Committee.

In her office, Jody is a mentor to new agents and often conducts round-table discussions. She is admired for her willingness to help out, as well as her professionalism and dedication.

Jody is a graduate of Syracuse University and a former physical education teacher, coach, and sales specialist at the Interior Wall in Rockville. She is also on the Board of Directors for her condominium community and was the head of the Architectural Control Committee of the North Farm Citizens Association for 20 years.

When not working, Jody plays tennis and enjoys travel with her husband, as well as spending time with her two young grandsons.

Andres Serafini

Andres Serafini is a Principal and Founder of The Washingtonian Group. As a Bethesda native and resident, he takes pride in having his pulse on the DC metro real estate market. Born to first generation parents and with previous experience as a political congressional liaison for the Organization of American States (OAS), Andres understands and appreciates the diverse nature of this area.

Currently serving as the Vice Chair for GCAAR's Public Policy Committee, Andres finds honor in keeping a close eye on the ever changing legislative and regulatory landscape. He believes that giving back to his industry and staying informed keeps him sharp and benefits his clients.

Andres works to ensure a superior experience to his domestic and foreign clients. He does this by using his problem solving expertise and commitment to excellence. Hard work, integrity, and a thorough understanding of the real estate process are keys to his success.

Andres also sits on the Board of Directors for the DC Metropolitan Chapter for the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP).

Danai Mattison

Danai Mattison Sky is a native Washingtonian and second-generation REALTOR® with Long & Foster Real Estate, as well as the Sales Manager of the Long & Foster Capitol Hill Sales Office. Danai earned her real estate license in 2008 while attending the University of Maryland - College Park, and upon graduation in 2009 entered into the sales arena full time. Licensed in DC and Maryland, she specialized in existing and new home sales in the DC area marketplace. In 2013, Danai was recognized as one of REALTOR® Magazine's "30 Under 30," which recognizes the rising young stars in the real estate industry, and in 2016, was appointed by Mayor Muriel Bowser to the DC Real Estate Commission.

As a strong believer in the importance to serve, she is an active member in both her local and state associations: 2012 - 2013 GCAAR YPN and Communications Committees; 2014 YPN Committee member and Communications Committee Vice-Chair; 2015 - 2016 YPN Committee member; and has served on the NAR YPN Advisory Board and the NAR Strategic Planning Committee 2014 - 2016. Danai loves to work hard for those she serves, socialize out and about in the city, and give back to her community!

Frank Snodgrass

Born and raised in Washington, DC, Frank Snodgrass has more than 13 years of experience and a passion for real estate investment. His attention to detail, impeccable service, excellent negotiation skills and licensure in all three jurisdictions allow Frank to deliver the true Sotheby's International Realty experience to all of his clients.

Frank has been active at GCAAR for the past eight years. He served on the Grievance Committee for four years, serving one year as Vice Chair and another as Chair. He served three years on the Professional Standards Committee and has also been a member of the International Committee. He is completing his second year as a GCAAR Board member.

A lifelong resident of the District of Columbia, Frank attended St. Patrick's Episcopal School and graduated from The Landon School. He then attended Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana, where he majored in Spanish and Latin American Studies.

Dick Stoner
Richard (Dick) Stoner

Richard (Dick) Stoner is Broker/Owner of Reist Corporation which restores and manages historic rental homes. He has been licensed in real estate since 1995, starting with Rory S. Coakley Realty, where he began a property management division and became Associate Broker. He also has over 20 years of experience in banking finance.

Dick's interest in Public Policy, gained from work on national banking and savings and loan industry changes, led him to volunteer for GCAAR's Public Policy Committee, where he has served as Chair since 2013. He has worked in positions for MRIS and CoStar Group, Inc., dealing with commercial real estate data and technology advancements. Dick also served on MAR's Legislative Committee (2014 - 2016).

Farmer certified, Dick is active with Land Preservation both for historic districts and for agricultural and environmental land use programs. He works with land owners in Washington, Frederick, and Montgomery Counties in rural, suburban, and urban markets to weigh both development and preservation value of open land.

As an independent broker, Dick is particularly concerned with legislative initiatives that may work against the livelihood of real estate agents and brokerage firms. He strives to always lift the image of the real estate community among buyers, sellers, tenants, and owners of real property throughout the region.

Jamie Coley is an Associate Broker with Long & Foster in Bethesda and is licensed in MD, DC, & VA. He's been a full-time REALTOR® for 28 years and is a third generation Washingtonian. Along with his business partners, Leigh Reed and Zelda Heller, he is fortunate to be recognized by Real Trends through The Wall Street Journal as the #58 Team (2015 / sales volume) out of the 1.2 million agents in the nation. In addition, he has won numerous sales awards during the course of his real estate career. He is known throughout the industry for his love of the business, as well as his integrity, dedication, professionalism, and work ethic.

Jamie has a strong belief in giving back to the real estate community and has been active in GCAAR for several years by serving on the Grievance, Contract and Clause, new GCAAR Contract Task Force, Budget, Executive, and RPAC committees. He also had the honor of serving on the GCAAR Board of Directors (2013 - 2016) and the 2015 / 2016 NAR Board of Directors. He had the distinguished honor of recently being selected as the 2015 GCAAR REALTOR® of the Year.

Along with his passions for travel, wine, cooking, and socializing, Jamie has been active and involved with other community boards and associations. He is also a strong supporter of numerous charities and foundations.

Peg Mancuso is a 31-year veteran of the real estate industry. Licensed in DC, Maryland, and Virginia, Peg has been a top producer with several major real estate companies, including Long & Foster, Weichert, and W.C. & A.N. Miller REALTORS® over her distinguished career. She is currently at W.C. & A.N. Miller, A Long & Foster Company, having started Daly, Mancuso and Associates almost 16 years ago.

Currently the President of GCAAR, Peg serves on GCAAR's Board of Directors as well as the boards for the National Association of REALTORS® and Maryland Association of REALTORS® (MAR). Additionally, she serves on MAR's Budget Task Force and Legislative Committee, is a former Chair and active member of GCAAR's Public Policy Committee, and a former member of the Education, Budget, and Community Service Committees.

Peg is a lifelong Washingtonian. Educated at the University of Maryland, Peg has called Potomac her home for the past 30 years. When not working, Peg is an avid traveler and skier. She volunteers in local community activities including Rebuilding Together® as well as being a major supporter of several charities and foundations, including the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, Habitat for Humanity, The Boy Scouts of America, the ASPCA, and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Licensed as a broker in Maryland, DC, and Virginia since 1988, Thom Brockett is a second generation REALTOR® affiliated with the Potomac / Cabin John office of Long & Foster. Thom has been a Managing Broker for Long & Foster, Weichert, and W.C. & A.N. Miller, and the Training Director for Long & Foster's Montgomery County Regional and DC Regional Training Centers. Thom holds the GRI and SHS designations. He is a senior Instructor for GCAAR, Advance Open Water SCUBA instructor, Integrity© Business Coach, Buffini & Company Mentor, and served on the Buffini & Company Advisory Board for the 100 Days to Greatness® program. Thom is a past member of the Grievance Committee, a current member of the Forms Committee, and has served two years on the GCAAR Board of Directors.

Prior to real estate, Thom was the Manager of Training Principles and Design and the Associate Marketing Director for an international training and consulting firm.

Thom lives in Potomac with his wife, Jennifer. Together, they peacefully coexist with their children Adam and Taylor; basset hound, Buster; Bruiser the Pug; two turtles; Daisy the Dynamic Parakeet; Garcia the Hateful Conure; and a fish.

Brandon began his real estate career in 2001, was Rookie of the Year in 2002, and one of REALTOR® Magazine's 30 under 30 in 2003. In 2004, he founded Brandon Green Residential, a nationally-ranked sales team. In 2011, Brandon became Managing Director of Keller Williams Capital Properties' flagship DC office, and in 2014 he assumed the role of Managing Partner for the organization. Keller Williams Capital Properties was recently recognized by the Washington Business Journal for the 2nd year in a row as one of the region's fastest growing companies.

Brandon is an expert in the local real estate market, is a member of the International Master Faculty at Keller Williams International Realty, and is recognized world-wide as a thought leader in the business. He has served twice as a board member for the District of Columbia Association of REALTORS®, and has served on GCAAR's Grievance Committee.

Outside of real estate Brandon loves to travel, whether it's back to Iowa or Wyoming to see his family, or abroad to see the world. Previous to real estate Brandon toured with the International Musical Organization, Up With People.

Jacque Grenning

Jacque has over 25 years of experience as a top-producing REALTOR® in Montgomery County. She is an icon in the industry and a leader in the community. She has been involved as an owner of several real estate offices and currently holds Associate Broker licenses in Maryland and Virginia.

An active member of GCAAR (and formerly the Montgomery County Association of REALTORS®), Jacque has served on several committees over the years, including the Education, Ethics, Green, and Grievance Committees. She also chaired the Rookie Committee for three years and most recently served on the Professional Standards Committee, just prior to her term on the GCAAR Board.

At her office, Jacque has helped build the program of Productivity Coaching, instituting a strong culture of productivity and training, and currently serves as the Managing Broker for the Rockville office. She is committed to continuous learning and has earned her CRS®, GRI, ABR®, and ePro® designations.

Outside of real estate, her regular off-work activities often include volunteering with programs such as Rebuilding Together® and Habitat for Humanity, KW Cares, the RocSolid Foundation, and her Rotary projects such as Flags For Our Heroes and Family Services. Her favorite pastime however, is enjoying walks along the C & O canal with her husband and dog.

Susann Haskins, an Associate Broker in MD, DC, and VA licensed since 1986, has been an award-winning, active practitioner, mentor, trainer, and Managing Broker. Concurrently, she has served GCAAR and her fellow REALTORS® through her tenure as a member of GCAAR's Board of Directors and as 2005 GCAAR President. She also received GCAAR's REALTOR® of the Year honors in 2006.

Susann was a key part of forming the GCAAR Cares Committee when she was President, and is particularly proud to say that it has been an actively-functioning committee for 10 years. She believes strongly in giving back to the people living in the neighborhoods we serve.

Susann has served for multiple years on the Contract & Clause Committee (now Forms Committee) -- chairing the committee twice. She also is a past member of the Public Policy and Education Committees. Most recently, Susann chaired the Task Force appointed to revise the GCAAR contract. She just completed her term representing GCAAR on the MAR Board of Directors as a District Vice President, serves on the MAR Statewide Forms Committee, and has been selected as Committee Chair for 2016 - 2017.

Because of her extensive knowledge and contributions on the local and state association levels, Susann is uniquely qualified to represent GCAAR members on the 2017 Board of Directors.

Hildy Pollard is a bilingual REALTOR® who specializes in residential and international real state. She is known for her friendly demeanor, attention to detail, and comitment to customer service.

Currently associated with Fairfax Realty, Hildy holds licenses in Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia. She is a 2005 graduate of The School of Redesigning and Staging and the Institute for Marketing Luxury Homes. She is a recipient of the 2011 Shining Star award given by the Maryland Association of REALTORS® (MAR), and a graduate of the MAR Leadership Academy, and the Leadership Academy for the Women's Council of REALTORS®. As a long-time resident of Maryland, Hildy volunteers and teaches first-time home buyer seminars for Montgomery County. She has also been a Mediator for the County since 2010.

Hildy's commitment to her profession is shown in her service. She is Vice Chair of MAR's Equal Opportunity / Cultural Diversity Committee, and she served as GCAAR's International Committee Chair (2012), and Chapter President for the Women's Council of REALTORS®, Greater Capital Area (2011).

Jason Sherman serves as Principal Broker and CEO of Real Living | At Home. A seventh generation Washingtonian, Jason graduated from the George Washington University in 2000 and received his J.D. from the Columbus School of Law in 2003. Jason is admitted to both the Maryland and DC bar. In 2004, he joined a well-established title company where he practiced as a settlement attorney until founding Real Living | At Home in 2012.

In addition to his duties for Real Living | At Home, Jason involves himself as much as possible with the real estate community. He moderates events, teaches classes, and serves on multiple committees for GCAAR and MRIS. He was recently named to the new "MRIS Evolve" Board of Directors. Jason is also a member of DCAR and NVAR, and serves on the Broker Advisory Council for the Real Living national brand.

When Jason is not working he enjoys time with his wife, daughter and new baby boy, two dogs, and their horse named Malin.

Pat Weed

Pat Weed has been in the real estate business since 1965. Pat is currently the Broker/Owner of the Patrick Realty Company, Inc. in Kensington, MD.

Pat has been involved in numerous committees during his tenure at the Montgomery County Association of REALTORS® now known as GCAAR. Pat has served on the GCAAR Board for three years, and is currently on GCAAR's Forms and Public Policy Committees. He has served as Chair and Vice-Chair of those committees and has been a member of the Grievance and RPAC Committees. Pat is an active member of the Maryland Association of REALTORS® (MAR) where he served on the Professional Standards and Legislative Committees, and currently serves on MAR's Statewide Forms (former Chair) and Public Affairs Committees. He was also on the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) Contact Team and a past member of NAR's Women's Council of REALTORS®.

Pat was the 2012 GCAAR REALTOR® of the Year, and was awarded the REALTOR® Emeritus status for over 40 years of professional real estate experience. An early graduate of the MAR Leadership Academy, he was a Licensed Real Estate Appraiser in Maryland and has earned the SIOR, SRES®, and CBR designations. Pat was on the Board of the Kensington-Wheaton Chamber of Commerce and is active on the Board of the Kensington District Business Association.

Pat is the father of four, grandfather of nine, former Marine, and is a member of the American Legion, Moose, and Nights of Columbus organizations.
